15 DAYS KENYA-TANZANIA SAFARI

Day 1
The Ark Lodge (150kms ,approximately 2hrs drive)
You will be received on arrival in Nairobi and depart for the Ark, which
is the heart of the Aberdare National Park. It overlooks a floodlit waterhole
and salt lick that attracts a host of wildlife: elephant, rhino, bushbuck,
and occasionally the elusive bongo.

Day 2:
Ark-Samburu (210kms,approximately 3hrs drive)
After breakfast depart for Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive for lunch at the
Lodge, built on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River. This reserve is home to
some very rare and unusual species such as the beisa oryx (which has been
known to be found only north of the equator), gerenuk, and the reticulated giraffe.
Enjoy two days of game viewing.

Day 3:
Samburu
Spend the day exploring the reserve and its varied species of game.
All meals and overnight at samburu serena.

Day 4
Samburu -Lake Nakuru
Depart after breakfast to Lake Nakuru National park a shallow alkaline lake
in the Rift Valley, renowned for its spectacular flamingo population as one
of the world's greatest ornithological spectacles. Although Lake Nakuru is
primarily a bird sanctuary, there are a considerable number of animals to
be encountered, among them zebras, elephants and gazelles. This is one
of your best chances of seeing rhinos. Lake Nakuru National Park was
the first place in Kenya selected as a rhino reserve. Here is one of the
few places where you can Rothschild's giraffes.Arrive in time for

Day 5
Lake Nakuru - Masai mara (310kms, approximately 5hrs drive)
After breakfast ,you leave for  Mara arriving in time for lunch at mara samba
lodge. After lunch, depart for your afternoon game drive.At 1800hrs you
will be back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.

Day 6
Masai Mara
Full day to one of the world's most famous wildlife reserves. From July to
September, it provides one of nature's most dramatic sights, the annual
migration of over a million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from the
Serengeti in the south and across the Mara River into Masai Mara.
Following their footsteps are Africa's predators; lions, leopards,
cheetah and hyenas. Full day spent enjoying the days findings.

Day 7
Masai Mara – Nairobi (270kms, approximately 4hrs drive)
After breakfast, leave camp for the last game drive and return journey
to Nairobi. Picnic lunch enroute and arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon
or early evening. Dinner and an overnight at Sarova panafric.
Day 8
Nairobi - JRO(255kms approximately 3hrsdrive)
Arrive at Kilimajaro Airport (JRO).After clearing customs and immigration formalities,
you will be met by our representative and transferred to Arusha. Overnight on Bed &
Breakfast at Impala Hotel

Day 9 After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park
arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon of game viewing. Lesser kudu, eland, lion
and gerenuk can be found in this beautiful park, noted for its multitude of baobab trees and
its tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or tented camp

Day 10
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Lunch at the lodge.
This afternoon, you will descend2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the
Crater for a day crater tour with picnic lunches. Explore the forest areas that are
Inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the
Flamingos and the opensavannah where the lions hunt for food. Dinner and
Overnight at the lodge in Ngorongoro

Day 11
Drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary
Leakey’s renowned archaeologicaldiscoveries. Their findings include some of
the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Lunch at the lodge inSerengeti.
You will have an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti
for a chance to see thegreat herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a
pride of lions lounging in the shade. Dinner and overnight at thelodge.

D 12+13
full days of game viewing in the Serengeti. Meals and overnight at the lodge
in the Serengeti National Park

Day 14
Enjoy an early morning game drive, before breakfast. Return to the lodge for
late breakfast. Enjoy a mid morningand then depart to Ngorongoro Highlands.
Lunch at Gibbs Farm or similar.Afternoon visit to the waterfalls. Dinner and overnight
at the lodge in Manyara

Day 15
After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park
whose inhabitants includehippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos and other
varieties of birdlife. Lunch at Lake Manyara Hotel/Lodge. After lunch, drive back to
Arusha and proceed to JRO for departure flight in the evening.
