BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES OF THE UGANDA RWANDA TOUR

Day 1: Airport Transfer
On arrival will be met, be picked up form the Airport on arrival and transfer you to your accommodation. Overnight at hotel after dinner

Day 2: Kampala Murchison Falls
Transfer to Murchison falls National Park. Set off at 8.00am in the morning and head towards northwestern Uganda for about 6-7 hour drive. Stop over in Masindi town for lunch. Continue to Murchison falls national park, Histoty has it that this is the most beautiful protected area in
Uganda.  Will continue the drive to the top of the falls where you will enjoy and marvel at the mighty Nile being forced in a seven meter crevice to thunder 45 meters below in a series of cascades that can be viewed at different points at the summit. Proceed to the lodge have the evening at leisure.
Dinner and overnight .

Day 3: Murchison falls National Park.
After an early breakfast , embark on a thrilling game drive on the  northern bank of the Nile , escorted with a game ranger expect to see elephants, Giraffe, countless Antelope , Hartebeest, Lions, Oribis, Waterbucks and a variety of savannah woodland birds. After Lunch, go for a launch trip upstream on River Nile at 14.oo hours for game viewing at close quarters .view a variety of hippos and crocodiles. Abundant birdlife
can also be sighted like the rare shoebill stork, Red fronted bee eater, silver bird and Blue mantled coucal. also hope to view the awesome inspiring Murchison falls where the River Nile hurls its self into appalling convulsions. Dinner and overnight

Day 4: Transfer to Fort Portal-Kibale National Park.
After breakfast, with a packed lunch set of for Kibale National Park. On arrival at Fort portal  maybe have an optional visit to the Toro Kingdom palace, coronation site and burial grounds. Dinner and Overnight

Day 5: Chimp Tracking-Kibale National Park.
After breakfast, report to Kanyanchu Tourist center where tourist activities begin and set out to track Chimpanzee in the forest. Chances of viewing the chimps are over 90% but understand this is not a guarantee. The National Park is a home of the endangered Chimpanzee we know and boosts of having one of the highest concentrations of primates in East Africa. Primate Species includes endangered chimpanzee, threatened red colobus monkey, Black and White colobus, Blue monkey bush babies and the Nocturnal Potto.

After lunch, Have a nature walk to the Bigodi Wetland .Bigodi swamp is a community we heard based activity that was set up to enable tourists give back to the community and yet enjoy the nature offered by the swamp like many colorful butterflies, birds and other plant species.. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Fort Portal-Semuliki.
Have an early breakfast and transfer to Semiliki National Park in Bundigyo  with a packed Lunch. Visit the Sempaya Hot springs. After Lunch, Visit the Pygmies just adjacent to Ntandi park gate. These comprise of the Bamba and Bakonjo. Take note of their ways of Living. Transfer to Semuliki Safari Lodge in Semuliki wildlife reserve. Have a night drive and explore nocturnal species like leopard, lion, spotted genets, white tailed
mongoose, eagles, owls, night jars. Dinner and overnight SOME LODGE?

Day 7:   Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After Breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park and arrive in  the Afternoon. Have lunch at the lodge and relax for a while. After lunch, go for a nature walk to Maramagambo forest or have a drive to the salt explosion craters in Katwe.. (optional activity) view a  variety of plant and tree species. With the same nature walk,  view a variety of  birds, butterflies and primates. Visit the bat cave and take a closer look
at the bats. If lucky, WE will spot the rock pythons that occasionally feed on the Bats.
Dinner and overnight  stay.

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After an early morning breakfast, go for a game drive heading for the mating grounds of the Uganda Kobs. Also view other animals like lions, Elephants and Buffaloes. After Lunch, will go for a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel at 15.00hrs.This is a natural channel that joins Lake Edward to Lake George. Actually this is one of our highlights for the Safari. On this cruise we hope to  view abundant birdlife, buffaloes, Elephants and perhaps the highest concentration of Hippos in Africa. Dinner and overnight somewhere?

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.
After breakfast proceed to Lake Bunyonyi the second deepest lava dammed lake in East and Central Africa. our drive will get us to see some beautiful scenery of the Kabale highlands, on to the Lake Bunyonyi environs for a day of relaxation enjoying the beautiful scenery and serene environment. Arrive just in time for lunch at the lodge  will then take part in an optional activity of our choice like swimming, bird watching, a boat ride through all the islands, Nature walks to the Batwa and Bakiga  communities. Dinner and overnight at Arcadia Cottages.BB

Day 10: Lake Bunyonyi – Park National Des volcans.
Set off in the morning after breakfast and proceed to Parc National Desvolcans in Rwanda with packed lunch. Arrive late in the afternoon, check in our place of accommodation. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Nest Hotel Ruhengeri BB

Day 11: Park National des volcans.

In the heart of Africa,  are the great old volcanoes towering up almost 15,000 feet, nearly covered with rich green rain forest, the virungas.  These are protected within Parc des volcans. The lushy forested slopes of the virungas form an appropriately dramatic natural setting for what is arguably the most poignant and most memorable Wildlife Safari Experience in the vast African Wilderness-Gorilla Tracking Safaris. After an early breakfast, Set off for gorilla trekking. hikers will love it Gorilla trekking is unpredictable, it is difficult to foresee how many hours we will hike, the gorilla trekking may take 2-8hours understand , expect to walk long distances  sometimes with rain overhead before you may encounter any gorillas. but also understand that  will be rewarded when  encounter the gentle giants. For conservation purposes, the time spent with gorillas is one hour is this true?????. Have dinner and overnight at Gorilla’s Nest Hotel BB in Ruhengeri, Rwanda.

Day 12: Ruhengeri-Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Have an early breakfast and transfer to kisoro. Arrive in time for lunch at our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay??
  
Day 13: Bwindi-Gorilla trekking After an early breakfast with packed lunchboxes, drive to Nkuringo at 6.30
am. Arrive just in time for briefing with our guide at 7.45 am , Set off for gorilla trekking and enjoy what we missed out on the previous trekk.   as Hikers we will  love it as we know the  Gorilla trekking is unpredictable, it is difficult to foresee how many hours we will need to hike we know this, the gorilla trekking may take 2-8hours , expect to walk long distances in steep muddy conditions sometimes with rain overhead before we encounter any gorillas, so we were told. . our efforts will be rewarded when we have an encounter with the humble giants. For conservation purposes, the time spent with gorillas is one hour. Dinner and overnight  somewhere.

Day 14: Transfer to Lake Mburo:
After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo with a lunch stop in Mbarara town. Arrive at the park late in the evening. We would like to have an evening Game drive  through the fringing swamp area.  View a variety of Zebras, rare and shy sitatunga, antelope, topi and the gigantic eland. Dinner and Overnight somewhere??

Day 15: Lake Mburo:
After an early breakfast,we will take a safari walk hopefully to be very interesting, we heard  this park boosts the best Nature walks in all parks and it’s only this park that we can see Game/wild life on a walk. After lunch, have an afternoon boat trip to cool off and also to enable us spot more water species like hippos, birds and occasional Nile Crocodiles. Dinner and Overnight  somewhere

Day 16: Transfer to Ssese Island.
After breakfast with a packed lunch, drive to Entebbe for our transfer to Ssese Islands at around  2.00pm. The island will give us the Caribbean experience with their white sand beaches and sky blue waters. Will also hope to encounter the vervet and colobus monkey, a variety of bird species and scores of butterflies. Dinner and overnight at Ssese Island beach resort hotel FB.

Day 17: Ssese Islands.
Will take part in an optional activity of your choice a forest walk, for a half day or an island tour. Dinner and overnight at Ssese Island Beach Hotel FB.

Day 18: Jinja.
After breakfast, transfer to Entebbe with ferry with your safari guide. Drive to Jinja making an optional stopover at Ssezibwa falls one of the heritage sites of the Buganda Kingdom in Mukono. In Jinja you will make an optional visit to the mighty Bujagali falls. Have Lunch .You will take a boat ride to the source of the Nile or alternatively go for the exciting white water rafting for the entire day. Dinner and overnight somewhere.

Day 19: Transfer to Kampala.
After breakfast transfer to Kampala with packed lunch making an optional stop at Mabira forest reserve, we hope to  have an optional city tour after lunch, which will take us to the Uganda Museum, markets around town, arts and craft markets, Kasubi tombs (the burial ground for three of Buganda’s Kabakas/Kings. Alternatively, we can for cultural entertainment in the city, enjoy different cultures of Uganda. Dinner and Overnight

Day 20: Departure.

Can relax at the hotel in the morning then prepare for your flight depending on your departure time. Shall transfer to the airport depending on your departure time. Depart with beautiful memories of our safari.
