8 DAYS ELGON TOUR UGANDA

Day 1
Arrival at the airport, our driver and one of our staff will pick you up from the airport and deliver you to Serena hotel or Sheraton hotel of Hotel Africana in the city centre, check-in, dinner and relaxation.

Day 2
After breakfast, go to Kasubi tombs, you will get a picture of Buganda’s rich culture. Expect to see the Kings regalia, stories about Buganda kingdom and the largest grass thatched hut in the country , where Buganda kings are buried.
Drive off to Jinja; enjoy your drive with a scenic beauty of Tropical rain forests of Mabira and the green sugarcane and tea plantations. Proceed to the Source of the Nile, a point at which the Nile starts its long journey to the Mediterranean Sea, take photos.
Lunch will be taken here.
Go to Bujagaali falls for sightseeing kayaking and white water rafting.
Dinner and overnight at Kingfisher resort or Jinja Nile resort hotel.

Day 3
Early morning after breakfast, drive off to Eastern Uganda, hike to sippi falls taking picnic lunch .Sight seeing and photography, dinner and overnight at Mude camp.

Day 4
After breakfast, we will follow the Kapkwata trail, hike uphill, through a natural forest of high Bamboo, heath and moorland. Now you are at Piswa camp; lunch, dinner and over night in the mountains.

Day 5
This day, we will hike up to the caldera lake area, expect to see the Giant Lobelia specie, and a landmark of the volcanic features ,hot springs at your exposal, Suam gorge and the hunters cave. Go for sightseeing in the afternoon and photography.
Lunch, dinner and over night at Piswa camp.

Day 6
After breakfast, hike up to 4321m accessing Wagagai peak, expect to see the caldera. Slope downwards through the Jackson summit and the Jackson pool.
Dinner and overnight at Mude camp.

Day 7
After breakfast, descend through Sasa trail to Budadiri; proceed to Mbale town off to Kampala.
Dinner and overnight at Grand imperial hotel or Hotel Equatorial.

Day 8
Early morning you will have breakfast, afterwards drive along Entebbe road, visit Zzika forest a natural eco tourism and cultural site. When you climb up the watch tower you can clearly view 3 ecosystems; the forest, wetland and grassland.
Transfer to Uganda wildlife education centre (UWEC), you will be exposed to ex-situ conservation, enjoy the feeding time of the animals.
Depending on your departure time, you may connect to the airport to catch your flight or may return to your hotel for an overnight.
