8 DAYS FLY IN MASAI MARA AND RWANDA GORILLA SAFARI
Day 1
Arrival in Nairobi.
You will be received and transferred to your overnight hotel, Sarova Stanley or another 5 star hotel in Nairobi
After check in, you will have a short city excursion and a visit to the giraffe center
Where you can enjoy feeding the giraffes. Overnight at the hotel.
PS: This night will be booked on bed and breakfast only, extra meals will be charged to the guests directly
Day 2: Nairobi- Mara Musiara 1Hr (Departs at 1000hrs arrives at 1100hrs approx)
After Breakfast, you will be transferred to the Wilson airport and fly in the to the Musiara airstrip, your driver guide will pick you from the airfield and transfer you to the Governors camp. Lunch will be served from between 1300hrs and 1400hrs, after lunch you will leave for an afternoon game drive that will have you return to your camp in the evening
For dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Masai Mara
You will leave the camp in the early morning to venture further into the reserve towards Mara River in search of the big hippo pools, giant crocodiles and off course the world famous crossing point for the wildebeests, among other wildlife that this park has in store for you. You will return to the camp for a rest and lunch, probably a dip in the pool and the rest of the time free. Your energies permitting, venture out again in last moments of the day to try your luck with the cats that are active when the temperatures cooling.

Day 4 : Masai Mara
Dawn, morning and afternoon game drives in Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya's best and most scenic game park. At the northern extremity of the unique Serengeti ecosystem, You can have a morning that you can take an optional balloon safari, a visit to the Masai village, or even a visit to a few of the projects that the Governor’s camp, this extra charges can be paid direct to the respective authorities at the camp. Day 5:
Masai Mara- Nairobi - Kigali – Ruhengeri.(Departs at 1100hrs arrives at 1215 approx)
After breakfast you will be transferred to the local airfield to catch your flight back to Nairobi proceeding to international airport to catch your international flight to catch flight to Kigali.
Airport Transfer – Kigali.
On arrival at the airport you will be met by your driver guide . After will drive to Ruhengeri near Parc de Volcanoes National Park the home of Mountain Gorillas. It is estimated half of the world’s surviving population of mountain gorillas –300 live within these boundaries shared by Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. The drive is short but enjoyable with lunch stop on the way.
The Park offers a dramatic steeply forested landscape and not incredibly dense like the Bwindi in Uganda, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. Here are families of gorillas that have been habituated for tourism and each is visited by 8 people per day. Although trekking may be strenuous the viewing of the gorillas in their natural habitat is an experience long to be savored.. Apart from the gorillas, there are a variety of primates to be seen including the blue monkeys, red tailed monkeys, and black & white Columbus monkeys. The great blue turacos are often seen and even for a non bird watcher they are marvelous sight.

Day 6:
Gorilla Tracking
Morning after breakfast with packed lunch, you will be driven to the park offices for briefing. You will be allocated family to track. Your will then be off from the park offices to begin your adventure. A briefing from your local guide and then it’s off! The time taken and the terrain varies (2- 8 hours) this depends on the movement of these gentle giants. The thrill of meeting face to face takes away the pain of some times long and arduous trek. Each encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in delightfully playful manner.
You will need to carry long pants like jean type, sturdy shoes to help you hiking steep and slippery slopes, long sleeved shirts and blouses to protect your bodies from thorns and itching plants. You may not rule out raining on you and at least a rain coat is needed to protect your bodies and any equipment carried along with like cameras. Also carry insect repellants and sun cream
After trekking will be driven back to your hotel and overnight Sabyinyo Siverback Lodge .
Day 7:
Ruhengeri -Kigali-Airport - Nairobi.
After breakfast will be driven to Kigali and continue to the airport for your home bound flight
