The Apes Circuit 7 days
Day 1: Kampala – Bwindi

Morning will be picked from your Hotel inKampalaand drive to Bwindi with lunch stopover on the way. Stopover on your way could be at the Equator, for memorable photo taking,  in Ankole grassland where long horned cattle are common sight. Continue southwards and arriving at Buhoma in the Evening dinner and overnight at Buhoma community rest camp in facilities section with running water for middle option.
 Day 2: Bwindi Forest National Park
After breakfast with packed lunch you will be led to the park headquarters where the local guides will lead you to the very family you will track gorillas. Track gorillas, seeing a variety of fauna. The time taken and the terrain vary according to the movement of these gentle giants. The thrill of meeting them face-to-face takes away the pain of some times long and arduous trek. Enjoy a close view of these primates as they undergo their daily activities. You will particularly enjoy the young ones as swing from branch to branch while the sliver back patrols to ensure the safety of the entire family. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma community rest camp in facilities section with running water for middle option.
Day 3 : Bwindi  –  Queen Elizabeth National Park
Morning  drive to Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth carry out game drive looking for climbing lions in Fig trees and other wildlife like elephants, buffalos antelopes leopard etc. Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the most outstanding treasures of Uganda, and has been designated a Biosphere Reserve for Humanity under UNESCO auspices.  It borders on Lake George and Lake Edward as well as Kazinga Channel in the western area of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
The park has attractive acacia-dotted Savannah which home is a home for Buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, lion hyena etc which graze these peaceful acres. At the lake, there are Hippos and a wonderful diversity of birds. Because of the different habitats of the lakeshores and the broad Savannah, the variety seems endless. Catch a glimpse of water birds diving for fish, the Marabou stork, bee-eater and cheeky. At  the crater area  will enjoy volcanic features and game viewing . Overnight will be at Simba Camp lodge.
 Day4: Queen Elizabeth National Park
The day begins with an early game drive. There are variety of animals like; lions, buffaloes, elephants, kobs, bushbucks and the rare leopards. Over 500 bird species have been identified here, making it a Mecca for bird-watchers. They include the black bee–eater, 11 different species of kingfisher and several falcons, eagles and other raptors.  Afternoon take a 2-hour launch cruise on the Kazinga channel in the afternoon. This waterway joins Lakes Edward and George and it is filled with schools of hippos, buffaloes with elephants at the banks. Retire to Simba Camp for dinner and over night. (FB) Evening will be at your leisure.
 Day5:  Queen Elizabeth National Park –Kibale Forest National Park
Take an early primate walk at 7.30 of Kyambura tracking chimps in the gorge. The gorge has interesting other primates like monkeys, baboons which can be viewed also. After tracking chimps   drive to Fort Portal. Overnight at Toro Resort in Fort Portal or Travellers Inn hotel Dinner and overnight.
 Day6: Kibale Forest – Chimp tracking
After breakfast, drive to Kibale Forest National Park famous for chimpanzee tracking. With local guides track chimps in their natural Forest in the shadows of the Rwenzori Mountains (the famed mist shrouded “Mountains of the Moon”) Kibale Forest is rich in animal life, including an astonishing 12 species of primates including chimps in this park have been recorded, the very localized red colobus and L’Hoest’s monkeys. Tracking the chimpanzee our ‘cousin’ is a very interesting experience. The way they feed, climb trees, respond to humans, caring for their young ones leaves an imaginative dream to tell.
In the afternoon visit the surrounding- Bigodi swamp or enjoy unique view of crater lakes and other volcanic features. Drive to Fort Portal town and overnight at Toro Resort  dinner and overnight.  
 Day 7: Fort Portal town – Kampala
After breakfast depart at your leisure for Kampala.
End of Safari.
