MASAI MARAA SAFARI KENYA EAST AFRICA

Day 1: Nairobi Masai Mara
After breakfast proceed down the Rift valley headed to the Mara.  Here you have superb photographic opportunities to capture the stately black-manned Lions, Elephants and various plains game. Lunch, dinner, bed and breakfast Mara Serena lodge.

Masai Mara This is one of the most famous Parks in the world and the most visited park in Kenya.  Standing at an altitude of 5,000 Ft, 275 Kms from Nairobi down the Great Rift Valley with magnificent views in the distance is Masai Mara Game Reserve. The Reserve itself offers the famous 'Out of Africa' breathtaking views and covers an area of 1,510 Sq. Km. Famous also for the Out of Africa film which was mostly filmed here, this Reserve holds an extraordinary density of animals including "the Big Five" (lions, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros). You will be amazed by the populations and species of plains game.
Day 2. :Masai Mara
Wake up to a full day game watch in the world famous Masai Mara game reserve. Breakfast, lunch and dinner in your lodge. A visit to the Masai villages or a balloon safari are optional and can be as well arranged upon request.
 Day 3 :Masai Mara -Nairobi - Kampala
After breakfast you start your drive back to Nairobi arriving in the late afternoon or early evening there after your transfer to the International Airport . Will take an international flight from Nairobi to Entebbe airport in Uganda.

On arrival at the airport will be received and be transferred to Kampala for overnight.

Day 4: Kampala - Bwindi
Early morning will depart from Kampala via Masaka and Mbarara cities, stop over for lunch enroute you will see the long-horned Ankole cattle; proceed to Kigezi highlands, the “Switzerland of Africa” and enjoy the beautiful sight of terraced gardens and branch off the Kabale or kisoro highway depending on the family of gorillas will be tracking. ome gorilla families are loctaed in the buhoma (northern families) and others in the southern (Kisoro side) To either side willl, the road will lead you to the forested Bwindi impenetrable national park, arriving late in the evening. Dinner and overnight .

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking
This day, we will take very early morning breakfast ,have lectures at the visitor information centre, then proceed to track the mountain Gorillas .A guided nature walk will take you through a thick tropical forest with a slippery foot path.
Your guide will identify various plant species, Butterflies and monkeys. After 1- 8 hours walk in the forest, you will meet the gorillas in their natural habitat, pursuing their routine work. You will be advised to abide by tracking rules and allowed a full hour with the Gorillas, take photos. Return to the camp for relaxation, refreshing drinks, dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Return to Kampala - Airport
After breakfast, depart Bwindi, lunch stop or picnic luch and continue drive to Kampala; arriving in the evening.
